UKERC Marine (Wave and Tidal Current) Renewable Energy Technology Roadmap was released by UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC) and provides a guide for achieving 2GW installed capacity of wave and tidal energy in UK by 2020. Although the roadmap takes into account complex interactions between commercial, political and technical aspects, it focuses on the technical aspects of deploying ocean energy. It also includes other considerations, such as environmental and policy issues.
