UKERC is funded by The Research Councils' Energy Programme and is the main body in the UK carrying out research in sustainable energy. It works with the UK and international energy communities and its research informs UK policy developers. UKERC has the headquarters in Imperial College, London and provides support to 30 universities and research institutions in the UK. UKERC promotes knowledge exchange and provides information about the most up-to-date challenges the UK energy industry faces.
